Hi, My Name Is Kelbee…
I got into hunting from my husband who hunted his whole life. It was always a dream, but he allowed it to happen. I have made many memories from a ‘deer down‘ text message to tracking and finally taking a picture, but now I can finally preserve that memory forever. I always thought trophy mounts were such a beautiful decoration to add character to a room and it can also be a great conversation starter. As soon as it was mentioned for me to be a taxidermist, I started right away and fell in love with it! My first official year of being in business was 2023, however, I have been practicing since 2022 of November. I was trained to do taxidermy by a taxidermist of about 40 years. He taught me everything I should know so I decided to start my own business. I eventually figured out there is a lot more than what meets the eye but what is life without a challenge! As it says in the Bible, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
I am excited to create beautiful mounts for you and to create life long friends! I hope y’all will love my work and stay along for the ride!
I specialize in whitetail deer and European mounts of all kinds, using my beetles as trusted coworkers. I’ve also worked on bears, squirrels, foxes, raccoons, rabbits, mink, and beavers, as well as backpack mounts, antler mounts, and turkey fans. I’ve recently started working with birds like pheasants and ducks, and while I’m still refining my skills in that area, I’m excited to keep learning and growing. To me, no project is too big or too small—I’m open to it all. So throw me any project, and I’m sure I’ll take it on.
